One of the saddest days of my life. Polly and Disney are our dogs. It has been five long years ago when my sister, Kristy, got Polly from our neighbor.  She is of Rottweiler-Dalmatian breed. And it was three long years ago when my dad’s cousin gave my brother, Danielle, our little Disney. He is of Japanese Spitz-Chihuahua breed.

They have been the best dogs any one could have. And certainly, we would want the best for them. Most especially now that we’re leaving soon. My sister has a Nun friend who is actually the sister of our close neighbor. She wanted to have the dogs brought to Medina where she stays so she could take good care of them. It was one of the heartbreaking experiences I had…Seeing our beloved dogs sent to quite a far place…And who knows when we’ll see them again…If we ever will see them again… T_T


My mom used to tell us not to have pets for when we loose them it only gives her heartbreaks. Human as we are, it is so natural for us to learn to love someone…even dogs. And the sad part of living is that along the way you have to let go of some people…friends…dogs. And so we bid farewell to them. These are our last photos of Polly and Disney. I could only stare at them from our window as my mom and siblings give them a final hug. I could not stop such tears falling. It is just so heartbreaking to see them sent away!

I only wish the safety and good health of our dogs. I may not be a dog lover but I tell you - these are the ONLY DOGS I love. And I will forever cherish them..
