This is long overdue. My anniversary gift just happened to arrive by mail today instead of arriving on November 21, 2011. But nevertheless, here’s some sneak peaks:

I sent him a HUGE card with our pictures together since Day 1. It is difficult to pick out the best ones that would fit in it because we truly do have a lot of photos together! Pictures only say a lot of what it was and how it changed us both. I’m sure whenever we see one, we clearly see what we’ve been thru during those times, difficult or easy. And its true too that the longer you’re with a person in your life, they hold value in your heart. So here’s what the texts say in my card:

And to my surprise, I got a package last November 16th. It arrived to early I bet. At first I thought its going to be a pillow of some sort since the packaging was huge. Then it turned out to be Personalized M&Ms Packs and a Bottle to symbolize “A Message in a Bottle”. Ain’t this the SWEETEST?

These pink and green chocolates literally has our faces on it. I remember this photo was taken during our very first anniversary. It was when we just simply celebrated with our forever favorite chocolate mousse cake. I was still pregnant in this photo too. The other prints on the chocolates says, Happy 4th Anniversary Sweetest. I know by now you are saying, “Don’t eat it!”

And finally on our special day - which I thought he was already done surprising me since I still can’t stop thinking about it… I open the door to receive a huge bouquet of four dozen roses. I just wished on that very moment that I was with him. Some things in life are hard to explain, the why’s we ask ourselves like, why do we have to be apart and all that. But I guess despite the distance, we realize MORE the value of that person we long for. Its amazingly God’s way of making you appreciate someone while you both are still living rather than live forever hoping for something that will never come to be.

Tabby’s letter highlighted this quote from the Bible: Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. -1 Corinthians 13:4-8

It says a lot in one line like that. Yes, we’ve been through a lot in our four-year relationship together. I think all relationships get deeper and deeper as years pass by. I am grateful for him. Grateful that I am complete and fulfilled with God’s love and His will to make him forever a part of me.
