I just posted this yesterday on my Facebook page. And as I woke up today I called my husband. We usually talk using Skype since we are currently not living together. And guess what he greeted me with. He was holding up this picture of a car while he was saying that he was totally creeped out when he saw that image up in our visualization board. I needed a second to make my brain think at 4am. And it dawned on me.

“I have something to tell you that is totally creepy!” (shows image from visualization board via skype)

“Look Mommy, does it look familiar?”

“IS THAT A VENZA???”

……..

Yes, that’s the image of the car I cut out from a magazine a few years back. I think that was over 2 years ago when me and Tabby were going over magazines and you know - shopping like the universe was our catalog. I told myself, I wanted a Lexus RX 350. I just could not find that image in our very low resource. I chose this car instead. Being a woman, I did not even know what car it was. I really just wanted something visually similar to my dream car. But when I saw that I really got that SAME car!!!! Oh boy. I could not help but cry. And I don’t know why, its not like I don’t need to pay it off…. but its just astonishing to associate both at the same time, during different scenarios in my life that geared to it and seeing it happening all at once right under my nose.

We haven’t finished the board yet. We needed more magazines and all that. We see that some of the things in our board look very familiar. We just had a getaway at Boracay. We are totally dedicated now in improving our health and becoming fit. All that. I can’t explain how grateful I am for the Lord’s amazing grace.

I am excited (still mind boggled) to see what comes up soon. I totally wish we would have the time to finish it or at least add some more to it that might become our future one day. Do you have a VISUALIZATION BOARD? Have you heard about THE LAW OF ATTRACTION? The Secret? I would love to hear your stories as well.

Life is a dance. But I won’t expound on that. I am just sharing that we finally decided to enroll Yzzy to a ballet school in town. She wasn’t really interested much in ballet since she is mostly at home playing with my Grandma and our household help. If you ask her, she would prefer to go to a baking or cooking school! I guess she found it interesting seeing everyone cook everyday. I have been baking too when I went home over a year ago and for her, it was fun times with Mommy.

So the first day came, and the second, and third… All she did was observe everyone else dancing around with the teacher. My little one is too shy. I do understand that she is an only child and most of the time she is by herself. No one to play with who is about her age… She really does need a bit more exposure to other children. I think this activity that’s going to be part of her weekly routine would help her slowly come out of her shell. In fact, at home she does show off a lot. And, we didn’t expect her to be getting almost everything by just observing but she actually did. Only at home though and in front of the laptop to show me her new learned tricks, tiptoes, and movements. Its amazing how our children could surprise us so much in their little ways. Its more amazing how she knows how to execute all those without doing it in class. Mommy and Daddy will always be proud.

So her month session is now over, and Tabby was able to find another school in town that offers an everyday schedule for two weeks. We decided to try this one out. The more she does it and the more comfortable she becomes, the easier it is for her to transition from being shy to being actively participating in dance practices. The box I sent will arrive soon and I am excited to see her wear the leotards I bought that has matching ballet tutus!

I got an email today from the National Visa Center that the petition I filed for my husband is now approved for further processing. Now I am being asked to pay and provide the Affidavit of Support. After this one comes the invoice for the Visa. We’re almost there. Roughly about four months after Yzzy’s AOS, here comes his. I really can’t wait. Its just a matter of months more to go… I do hope the wait time would be cut down to less than a year.

Basically, it’s a one stop shop for Texan products.

Their menu includes honey glazed hams with honey, garlic smoked chickens and fresh nuts from all over the world dry roasted in Austin. An online catalog is available along with price ranges that you can afford. You can get anything Texan in this store and it is definitely worth checking out.

Throwing a party in Dallas can be fun, especially when you have the right ambiance. Party hall rentals in Dallas can be done at Mattito’s Private Fiestas where they offer private rooms at a very affordable rate. You can have as little as 20 guests to over 200 for any type of event. Their place is ideal for wedding receptions, birthday parties and corporate events. Numerous company parties have been held in banquet rooms and they have received positive feedback from customers. Their menu consists of various Tex Mex foods you can choose from. If you want to have catering done, they offer that, too.

If you are relocating to Dallas, the first thing you will need is a Dallas relocation guide. Moving can be very stressful and what you need is the right mover to take that burden away. Find a company that is reliable and if possible an affiliate of the Better Business Bureau. Look for positive reviews or testimonials from customers on the internet so you would know what to expect from the establishment’s services. Once you have made up your mind on which professional moving services company to use, you can finally move on to other important things like finding a place to live if you don’t have one yet.

This is long overdue. My anniversary gift just happened to arrive by mail today instead of arriving on November 21, 2011. But nevertheless, here’s some sneak peaks:

I sent him a HUGE card with our pictures together since Day 1. It is difficult to pick out the best ones that would fit in it because we truly do have a lot of photos together! Pictures only say a lot of what it was and how it changed us both. I’m sure whenever we see one, we clearly see what we’ve been thru during those times, difficult or easy. And its true too that the longer you’re with a person in your life, they hold value in your heart. So here’s what the texts say in my card:

I’ve been waiting all my life for this morning
Just to wake up next to you holding me
And your head is resting gently on my shoulder
Like you’re whispering to me
I’m in love with you
I’m in love with you
So glad I found you
I’m in love with you
When we’re leaving dreams and rolling back the covers
All at once we’re getting ready for the day
It’s when you look at me in the mirror while you’re shaving
Before I go on my way, you say
I’m in love with you
I’m in love with you
You’re the one I choose
‘Cause I’m in love
Love is joy and love is pain
It’s kissing in the rain
It’s doing dishes when it’s late
Isn’t it, baby
It’s the art of compromise
It’s hellos and long goodbyes
It’s the picture of our lives
Isn’t it crazy
So I’ll call you when I get to where I’m going
And I’ll tell everyone we know you said hello
And without fail they’ll ask me if I miss you
Of course I do, you know I do
‘Cause I’m in love with you
I’m in love with you
You’re the one I choose
I’m in love
I’m in love with you
I’m in love with you
I love you just the same as I did the day
I fell in love with you

Joy Williams - I’m In Love With You

And to my surprise, I got a package last November 16th. It arrived to early I bet. At first I thought its going to be a pillow of some sort since the packaging was huge. Then it turned out to be Personalized M&Ms Packs and a Bottle to symbolize “A Message in a Bottle”. Ain’t this the SWEETEST?

These pink and green chocolates literally has our faces on it. I remember this photo was taken during our very first anniversary. It was when we just simply celebrated with our forever favorite chocolate mousse cake. I was still pregnant in this photo too. The other prints on the chocolates says, Happy 4th Anniversary Sweetest. I know by now you are saying, “Don’t eat it!”

And finally on our special day - which I thought he was already done surprising me since I still can’t stop thinking about it… I open the door to receive a huge bouquet of four dozen roses. I just wished on that very moment that I was with him. Some things in life are hard to explain, the why’s we ask ourselves like, why do we have to be apart and all that. But I guess despite the distance, we realize MORE the value of that person we long for. Its amazingly God’s way of making you appreciate someone while you both are still living rather than live forever hoping for something that will never come to be.

Tabby’s letter highlighted this quote from the Bible: Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. -1 Corinthians 13:4-8

It says a lot in one line like that. Yes, we’ve been through a lot in our four-year relationship together. I think all relationships get deeper and deeper as years pass by. I am grateful for him. Grateful that I am complete and fulfilled with God’s love and His will to make him forever a part of me.

Everyone has their share of the bad times, where you just can’t make ends meet, and have to spend the savings on food, or a bill - or even worse, have to spend the children’s savings on keeping the heating on.
I work hard for the money I get, but it did make me think about other ways which I could try to make some money. Some seem quite obvious, but I’ve never really done, and others will be a fun test to see if money can be made!
Selling seems like such a common answer when people ask how to make extra money. There is a huge variety of things you could sell, however - from old children’s toys to clothes that don’t fit anymore, which can go for surprising money on Ebay, make another child happy and give yours more space, to things that you can make.

Some people are crafty, meaning that they can make papercrafts, soaps, candles or jewelry which others will love. Handmade websites, Ebay, local shops and craft markets are all great audiences for this type of work, and you never know how successful you might become!
If you aren’t too crafty, you might find luck or skill is your ‘thing’. Try your hand at playing casino online, or join in local games - from poker to backgammon and fruit machines, there is a game for everyone, and you can make money without spending any if you sign up for bonuses!

Food and drink are also great things to sell. Cookies, cakes, sauces, jam… anything you can think of which you like to make. If you are more of a drink-lover then a foodie, you could also try making flavored vodkas or something similar. Just make sure you label up a bottle correctly, and you can share your love for food and your abilities, and make some money doing it.
Of course, any venture needs to be thought through properly, and sometimes it can seem that just looking for a part-time job might be easier than trying to turn your talents into cash, but done properly you can make money, enjoy yourself and be at home with your children - so your new money doesn’t need to go on childcare or transport to work. Who knows, if you’re lucky, you might even start the new family business!

It’s Yzzy’s Great Grandma’s special day today. Despite us not being to come home and celebrate it with her, I’m happy that she is with two of the many people that love her dearly. They had a get together at the Apple Tree Resort together with Tabby’s family. Mama has been more than just a blessing to us. For the many years that she has taken care of me and my three other siblings, she still lives today taking care of my little one. Thank you so much Mama for the many years of unconditional love that you have bestowed upon everyone who have been part of your life. We will forever be blessed and grateful. Cheers to many, many more years to come!

2012…2012…I’m just glad you still came. A few days ago, Typhoon Sendong left a mark in history by hitting and causing damage and lives lost to Northern Mindanao areas. Thankfully, most of them are safe. I have some relatives who definitely lost their homes and one that lost a child. I was even worried about the box I sent if it actually arrived in the city or still on its way to the city. It was packed with goodies for everyone back home from us here. It is definitely hard to live far away, and it makes me feel that I should give more. It doesn’t just compensate for what’s lacking - physical presence - but its something I cannot live without doing. So finally today, it arrived. I am so happy that it makes the people feel happy knowing they are remembered. And as a longing mommy myself, I cannot help but fulfill my duties even in small ways of providing for her needs and wants. As young as she is, I know she understands already that Mommy will always be there for her…. even in distance.

As we face another interesting year, we hope that the three of us will be together again. For now, we continuously pray that God will continue to provide guidance as we live far apart.

We were estimating her arrival before to be July 2013. But as my attorney keeps saying, it depends on the allocation of visas per month/year and if there are a lot or less cases filed per succeeding month.

I have really been preoccupied and busy with work and school lately. I did some shopping every now and then whenever I can. It soothes me though instead of thinking about where all the cash go. Apart from my busy life, I still find myself thinking of my husband and baby. Its a given maybe but its something I cannot deny myself of everyday - I miss them. I finally found time today to actually finish packing two boxes to send home tomorrow. It just felt like forever trying to fit everything inside… its an experience that is worth all the effort. There’s that feeling of love in everything. Trust me. Sounds silly but true. I somehow envision my dad when he was the one sending us boxes every now and then. It takes a lot of “everything”. If I haven’t told you yet, I might not be able to come home this year. School policies have changed and so does my work priority come to a realization that I should be able to keep this until I get the chance to jump into a job that is related to what I went to school for. As of now, Tabby is undergoing some problems at work. We’re both just too busy that at the end of the day we just hope and wish that we are together. Painful but we keep on pressing that it will be for a better future… So yeah, another year. Time runs so quickly I might have less time to wait til they will be arriving here. Keep on praying for us. Now I got to go back to my visualization time for a contest I am planning to (90% joining!) join… I’ll see you when I see you.

Printer ribbons – not cartridges is needed, because ID card printers are different and they use ribbons. So you will need to know the size and type of ribbon your printer is using. You will also need to know whether your ID printer has a multicolored ribbon or just a black one. Having an extra cable in case something happens to the first one is advised because having a cable that malfunctions while you’re in the middle of an ID card project can be frustrating.

Purchase a cleaning kit to help your ID card printer run more smoothly and to also extend its life. Using harmful chemicals to clean your printer should not be done. Some models have specific cleaning kits created just for that particular one.

You need an adequate supply of badge holders and badge clips to make sure you don’t run out. They come in a variety of styles and you can browse through several designs before deciding on which ones to buy. Another thing you will need is an ID camera so you can take pictures. You can also opt to have a tripod and various backdrop clothes to ensure that the pictures will look decent and professional. For other accessories you may need, ask sales representative or browse online. Shopping online can bring you really good bargains. Try visiting http://www.safecardid.com/ for ID card printers and software.

We go through a lot of pain and receive surprises, because we can never predict what happens in our lives. Insurance is important and it’s something we should get.

People have to be practical nowadays, especially if you’re a parent. What happens if we get sick or get into an accident one day – heaven forbid – and we won’t be able to come home to our loved ones anymore? Wouldn’t we want them to receive a certain sum of money to sustain them even after we’re gone? The answer to this is a life insurance. There are several types of life insurance and each of them has their own benefits.
