Camping Plan with Yzzy
Camping is a recreational outdoor activity I personally want to try with Yzzy. But first, I better do some research first to know the pros and cons, do’s and don’t of camping. I sure want our first camping activity to turn out right.
From what I have read on the internet - Campers, who will set out for a camping activity will leave their city or town for a pleasurable, fun, extreme and sometimes relaxing outdoor retreat. Camping usually happens during summer seasons for students and during vacations for workers who are having their holiday vacation. Most campers will camp out close to nature and they will setup a tent, go hunting for food, do some outdoor activities and share stories around a bonfire at night. The campers will bring necessary things that are hard to find or sometimes not present on the camping area like water, food, clothes and camping gears. Camping is very fun as long as nothing bad happens!
I also found out that when preparing for camping, one must list the things that are important during the outdoor activity. Top of the list of course are water, food and clothes and one must also not forget about camping gears, which will make your camping comfortable and easy when you are not an extreme type of camper. This is our first time doing it anyway so better be prepared right?
Moving on, I needed to know what camping gear I need, especially that Yzzy’s skin is a bit sensitive, so I guess I should secure some good tents, sleeping bags, camping bags, camping slippers, flashlights or camping lamps and probably some mosquito repellents or lotions. I also found out that some extreme campers will just bring a few important things and camping gears. They just carry with them the camping gears like camping bags, sleeping bags, flashlights and outdoor hunting tools like an army Swiss knife, and that’s JUST it. I’m even thinking to bring Yzzy’s whole closet!:) But I realized that most extreme campers are very experienced campers and they can build their own shelter if the weather gets worst and hunt their own food using their outdoor hunting tools.
To bring my desperate research to make sure our camping plan does not turn out into a catastrophic event, I realized that campers must also consider the possible dangers that might happen in the surrounding area of the camp site. Some possible dangers are getting bitten by a snake or when you come across a wild bear. Now that is one thing I really wouldn’t want to happen. So, I guess I better invite Yzzy’s macho Uncle to be with us to help me make sure that if something happens, at least we Yzzy has 2 protectors.
Well, I think that’s it, that’s all I need to know for our first planned camping - but wait, Yzzy is still is not even 2 years old. Hmm, well I guess I have to wait until she turns three to make this camping plan happen. Ha-ha-ha, excited little me. I must be very eager to do a lot of things with my daughter when she’s able.
