Yzzy’s Neighborhood Friends

My little girl is growing up so fast. Look at her with girl friends Lia and Niña. They’re having a good time enjoying the wide lawn of Grandma Lina outside. Its safer here than being on the road right? Soon when they grow up to be a little bigger, they will surely have fun with dolls and stuffed toys. More updates coming soon!

HAPPY FEET!

OH MY GOD! My baby Yzzy can walk already!

At exactly 3PM February 1, 2010 in the Philippines she was madly running around her alphabet mat! And I’m seeing it live via Skype! Tabby was crying! I was so overwhelmed I came out rushing from the room to call Yzzy’s Grandma Lina and Grandpa Rey who were so happy to see her walk for the first time too! Choosing Quality Toys

A rule of thumb: Less is more. The less a toy does, the more opportunity a child has to create and learn from it. Simple toys are easier for children to use, require less supervision and last longer.

1. SAFETY FIRST
Toys should match a child’s developmental level and age and should not contain unsafe, toxic or flammable materials, sharp corners or small, detachable parts. They should also be clean.

2. DURABILITY
To survive a child’s repeated handling, a toy must be made of sturdy, reliable materials.

School Keepsake Book for my Toddler

Look how my baby has grown already! She’s a toddler now. She’s pretty much doing great on learning how to walk, and socializing too. She even improves everyday with her “unknown” language.
