It’s Yzzy’s Great Grandma’s special day today. Despite us not being to come home and celebrate it with her, I’m happy that she is with two of the many people that love her dearly. They had a get together at the Apple Tree Resort together with Tabby’s family. Mama has been more than just a blessing to us. Today I got a mailed letter from the National Visa Center asking to verify all personal information with regards to this case. It is also asking me to sign off on who I would declare to be the “agent” or the person who will be receiving the case letters and updates in behalf of my underage daughter. This also serves as an invoice for the Affidavit of Support which I would be filing in soon after payment is made. Hopefully all goes well! Looks like Yzzy would be …

Indeed, the world has become smaller because of things that made people feel closer from their loved ones. We can now see and communicate with each other even though far away. And I am talking about a daily tool me and my Sweetest always use, Dropbox.

It may never occur to most people to celebrate a birthday twice as for two different time zones. But for me I am celebrating that, luckily! And I am grateful and happy and blessed… mixed emotions to be exact, to see my friends and family in clear videos (some in HD!) greet me on this special day. I bought a Hoops and Yoyo Birthday card two weeks before her birthday. I mailed it the next day hoping it will arrive around the Christmas season if not on the exact 18th. I was surprised to hear that it just arrived two days ago! Hahaha. Nevertheless, I wasn’t that disappointed. Why? Because my little girl adored it. Look at her! Smiling so much hearing all those:
“Happy Birthday!!!!”
“You missed it!!!”
“I missed what???!!”

It’s a day late here in Las Vegas. And I’m like 5000 miles away from home today - on this very special day. A year after the hard times of labor and the sweet pains it gave me. A year after the heartfelt struggles. A year after the greatest HAPPINESS that God gave me.
I’m reminiscing of the day Yzzy gave me a sense of importance into this world. So this is what being a mom really means. This is what life is ALL ABOUT. And on this …

HURRAY! ^__^ Mommy finally finished making Yzzy’s first birthday invitation cards! These invites will be sent out next week… Tabby will need to do the last step - printing! I hope everyone invited could come.. Your presence would surely be appreciated!

This is the cake I asked Ms. Florianne of Nikon Cakes to make for Yzzy’s 1st birthday. It’s gonna be similar to this one but with with 3 layers. Chocolate base, butter in the middle and chiffon strawberry on top where Ariel,the little mermaid, will be placed. There’s going to be a big 1 on top as a candle, Yzzy’s name down the middle, and some seaweeds, starfishes and fishes all around. Some cupcakes will be surrounding the cake too. I guess Yzzy’s cake is gonna be an eye-catcher!

Today is the last day of November. Just the right time to start getting ready and busy for our baby’s 1ST birthday. Tabby and I wanted to have extraordinary memories of Yzzy’s coming birthday.. it will only happen once in a lifetime.. and so fast that it will just be a memory of the past..
