I bought a Hoops and Yoyo Birthday card two weeks before her birthday. I mailed it the next day hoping it will arrive around the Christmas season if not on the exact 18th. I was surprised to hear that it just arrived two days ago! Hahaha. Nevertheless, I wasn’t that disappointed. Why? Because my little girl adored it. Look at her! Smiling so much hearing all those:

It just seems to be like yesterday when we had our first Christmas as a family of 3 - Tabby, me, and our new born Yzzy. Today, we celebrate Christmas somehow differently. Christmas on the webcam. Nothing beats seeing Yzzy smile and be so enthusiastic in front of the cam. It really makes me want to physically hug her. It’s a day late here in Las Vegas. And I’m like 5000 miles away from home today - on this very special day. A year after the hard times of labor and the sweet pains it gave me. A year after the heartfelt struggles. A year after the greatest HAPPINESS that God gave me.

This is the cake I asked Ms. Florianne of Nikon Cakes to make for Yzzy’s 1st birthday. It’s gonna be similar to this one but with with 3 layers. Chocolate base, butter in the middle and chiffon strawberry on top where Ariel,the little mermaid, will be placed. There’s going to be a big 1 on top as a candle, Yzzy’s name down the middle, and some seaweeds, starfishes and fishes all around. Some cupcakes will be surrounding the cake too. Another trip to Mall of Asia here in Manila. Though its very far from where we are staying, it is still worth the effort. We decided to hang around at the Discovery Center after a whole day of touring the big and wide mall. I swear you can’t tour the entire mall in one day!

OUR VISAS HAVE FINALLY ARRIVED!!!!

And so mommy and daddy went to manila to have mommy and her family’s interview at the US Embassy. I enjoyed my first airplane ride.  I was so amazed when we took off. I didn’t even had a minute to sit down coz I was busy appreciating all the passengers and the whole experience of our flight. The stewardess even adored my charming and irresistable cuteness. I am now in Manila and I looove it!

This is a late post. I just want to share this. This was taken after Yzzy had her immunization shot at the health center near our house.
Do you suddenly feel for her? It seems like she really got a terrible headache! It is a very good sign that Yzzy has never had a fever. NEVER. And I thank God for that. I believe she really has a strong immune system! It would hurt a mom to see her daughter feel bad.

After the baptism ceremony at church, reception followed at Casual Brew OIC, Corrales Avenue, Cagayan de Oro City. Yzzy’s dad had to emcee for the little program we prepared for baby Yzzy. Mommy and Daddy are excited for Yzzy’s christening early next morning. And so, we made Yzzy have some dress rehearsals just to make sure her clothes fit her well.. Yes, you read that right. This seemingly small girl grows up fast! Most of her clothes wont fit her anymore! Hehe.

Thanks to Ninang Lia’s christmas gift to Yzzy - the RED HOT DRESS. And WHOA! It now looks more of a BLOUSE than a dress to me. ^^ Adorable little Yzzy!
