So it was All Souls Day, me and my family planned to visit our grandparents and our departed loved ones at my mother’s homeplace - Initao, Misamis Oriental. It’ s an hour drive from Cagayan de Oro city and it was Yzzy’s first time to see where her great grandmother and grandfather lies as well as her aunties and uncles on my mother’s side. I was excited to see her reaction. :) And so we left the house in the morning to beat the rush of people in the cemetery, and arrived at Initao around 10pm, we went straight to where our grandparents lies and offered prayers.

This is my auntie’s beach house and we all gathered there for lunch. Yzzy was like wearing her “wondering face” trying to psyche everybody. Yzzy - “Who are these people Daddy?” :)

And she was a little bit comfortable with the people already. Picture taking help her felt relaxed.

She was eventually enjoying it already. Mama and Ann was all lookout for her. No one, can get close to her…yet.

Yup, I told you, no one can get close to her. She will cry her heart out if she is help by somebody whom she doesn’t know. :) .This is her Tita Len-Len, wife of my mom’s youngest brother.

With patience and perseverance, one of my auntie, Tita Nanette, was able to persuade her and was able to cuddle and play with her.(Or yzzy was just like, what the heck, I’m tired of crying already - hold me all you want!…lol)

All in all, we had fun, we had a great reunion with my cousins, titas, titos and relatives. Time has indeed passed us by since we were able to connect again. Most of my cousins were like still in highschool before, but now, there are all graduating in college and applying for a job already. Some went to the UK and States and had families there. It was a memorable day for my family and for them too - to finally see a new addition to the next generation of their bloodline - YZZY! :)
