It’s a day late here in Las Vegas. And I’m like 5000 miles away from home today - on this very special day. A year after the hard times of labor and the sweet pains it gave me. A year after the heartfelt struggles. A year after the greatest HAPPINESS that God gave me.

I’m reminiscing of the day Yzzy gave me a sense of importance into this world. So this is what being a mom really means. This is what life is ALL ABOUT. And on this special day, I thank you my baby for coming into Mommy and Daddy’s life. You indeed made both our families whole and better. I promise you that this is the only birthday and Christmas that we are not together as a family. Happy Birthday, Sweetie. May God grant you more years with us, continued good health, strength as you grow up, as well as faith and fear in God. We will forever be here for you - more than our lifetime.
