Here’s Yzzy and Mama (who visits us most of the time here at our house since we just live near my Mom’s place). That’s what I’m calling my Mom’s mom. And now she’s Yzzy’s great grandmama. Cool huh? I’m glad she met my little Yzzy just before she leaves for Bohol in a few days from now. It would be unpredictable when they would next see each other. Yzzy surely loves my Mama. She did smile a lot and behaved herself when Mama held her.

Little baby Iyanna Allison Ysabel “Yzzy” finally came out at 6.7 lbs. and at 51 cm in length at exactly 4:44 am today. Mommy will be seeing her soon after she gains full consciousness and strength. For moms trying to have their own little angel, this one should inspire you!

Now I’m beginning to get worried…It’s my 3rd day in the hospital and there’s no sign of active labor yet. Just some few contractions and disappointing 4-5cm dilation of the cervix from every internal examination. And what’s making it worse is this IV that’s really hurting me! Sheesh.. This is really a a big needle huh…“size 18” one nurse said. I can’t wait to have this thing of me already. Sigh. However, my oxytocin is inserted through my IV so it really has to be stuck here with …

I woke up today and found myself still wondering when my water would break. Its my third day today of having the ‘bloody show’ but no bag of water breaking yet. Thank God its a Monday today. Its the 13th of December and yeah!.. It’s showtime! Little baby Yzzy is preparing for her grand entrance!
The feeling of excitement is all over the place knowing that soon we will finally see our little baby girl. I can’t help but feel very anxious of her coming. And of the ‘Bag of Water’ thing that they say just breaks when you least expect it.

I think any mom would agree with me that coming up with a name for your soon to be born baby can be both difficult yet fun as well. I’m running to my 9th month in a couple more days. But it seems that time flies slowly now that I’m nearing my delivery.
